After cooperating with the prominent inspirational speakers Bob Proctor and Dr. John Demartini and watching their work, I learned that success has a recipe. There are some common traits, behaviors, and habits that help these high performers achieve success in their life and business and stand out from everyone else. Mainly, it has to do with their laser focus, discipline, and consistency in taking certain kind of action daily towards their goals.
Here is a simple five-step process to create your dream life. The only condition is that you have to follow it with discipline, consistency, and focus.
2. GET CLEAR ON YOUR LIFE VISION AND SET GOALS FOR THE NEXT 12 MONTHS
Clarity precedes mastery. You need to write down a story – a clear vision of how your life is when you have everything that you want, traced down to every little detail. The more detail you can envision, the more power you will have.
Within that Vision, determine your Top 10 Goals for the next 12 months. They should cover all key areas of your life: career, finances, relationships, health, lifestyle, spirituality, family, and contribution. What ten biggest goals must you achieve in the next one year to make it your best year yet? These goals will be the road map you give to your brain, which will help you direct your focus and energy every day towards achieving them.
Make a commitment to yourself to read your life vision story, which includes the achievement of your goals, every morning when you wake up before you go about your day and then close your eyes for a couple of minutes and visualize your life as you want it to be right down to the little details.
This will help your brain to focus every day on what you need to be doing to get where you want to be and attract the right opportunities. You will be surprised with the results this exercise produces just by shifting your focus. In the end, your behaviors will align with the images and the beliefs that you hold in your brain.
So focus every day on the feeling what the achievement of your life vision and goals gives you.
2. DETERMINE WHAT IT TAKES TO ACHIEVE THE GOALS
After defining your goals for the next 12 months, it’s essential to decide what kind of person you need to be to attain them. Setting goals and having a vision is great, but you won’t get much farther unless you start taking action towards their achievement. In order to attain the amazing results and create a life of you dream, you have to change somehow your habits and behaviors. Maybe you need to work on your self-confidence, or you need to learn a new skill. Maybe you have to become more focused, more disciplined, connect with new people, do something differently from what you have been doing before. As simple as that: you can’t expect to get a different outcome for your life with the same behavior that you created your current conditions.
Usually, this kind of necessary change is internal. It all starts with belief in yourself and your own capabilities. If you like most of the world’s population think that you have mental blocks and limitations, find someone who has achieved what you want and ask them how you can overcome your limiting beliefs. And as you work on your mindset, you can go on and create new daily habits and learn new skills that will help you achieve those goals.
To create new behaviors and habits, write down the 5 main things that you will do differently in the next 12 months, the 5 new habits and activities and commit to them every day.
Discipline and Focus in taking action are typically two main habits that people need to develop in order to create abundance in your life. This is what separates all the great achievers that I have met from everyone else.
3. DEVELOP AN ACTION PLAN AND CONSISTENTLY IMPLEMENT IT
Leave no stone unturned. Vision without Action will produce zero results. Plan what you have to do every day to achieve the desired outcome. If you do commit to taking consistent action towards your biggest goals on a daily basis, your life will have transformed within the next 12 months.
4. LET GO OF YOUR ATTACHMENT TO THE OUTCOME
Let go of the time frame of when the goal should come true. Infinite patience produces immediate results. The more you focus on something that is missing in your life, the more you push it away from you. The more attached you are to it coming true, the more you are delaying its manifestation. So learn to work towards your goal, while letting go of time frames and attachment to when the outcome will show up. Do not care, be happy anyway and enjoy the present moment.
5. PRACTICE DAILY GRATITUDE, FOCUS ON THE GOOD THINGS, LIVE MOMENTUM
Miracles in life take place when you experience and practice gratitude. So remember to appreciate all the positive things you have, all your wins, achievements, and everything that makes you happy. This will help you start noticing things you didn’t see before, shift your vibration and create a momentum in your progress by focusing on what is working and not wasting any energy on what is faulty.
